CLUB (“DBC”) is
committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy tells you about our
online collection, use and disclosure of personal information. The terms of
this policy apply to all personal information about an identifiable individual collected
by DOLLAR BID CLUB on the
website WWW.DOLLARBID.CLUB AND
WWW.THEDOLLARBIDCLUB.COM. We have created this policy pursuant to British
Columbia’s Personal Information
Protection Act, S.B.C. 2003, c.63 (“PIPA”) and Canada’s Personal
Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, S.C. 2000, c.5
(“PIPEDA”).
This site is operated by DOLLAR BID CLUB and may be
accessed in Canada and abroad. For personal information protection purposes, DOLLAR BID CLUB is the controller
and, unless otherwise noted, is also the processor of the personal information.
Information collected will only be retained as long as it is reasonably
required for the purpose(s) it was collected.
This Privacy Policy outlines the principles
and practices we will follow in protecting your personal information. Our privacy commitment includes ensuring
accuracy, confidentiality, and security of your personal information, together
with allowing you to request access to, and correction of your personal
information.
This Privacy Policy applies to DOLLAR BID CLUB and to any service
providers collecting, using or disclosing personal information on behalf of DOLLAR BID CLUB.
What
is Personal Information?
Personal information includes:
Any and all information about an identifiable
individual including name, age, home address and phone number. Personal
information does not include contact information. Contact information means information
what would enable an individual to be contacted at a place of business and
includes name, position name or title, business telephone number, business
address, business email or business fax number.
Personal information is collected when you
register on our website including your user name and password, your name, email
address, Dollar Bid Club, and phone number.

DOLLAR BID CLUB only
collects personal information after you have provided us with your consent to
collect that specific information. By voluntarily providing this personal
information to DOLLAR BID CLUB on our
website, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as

register as a buyer of content without providing DOLLAR BID

the operation, security and evaluation of this website. This information helps us to make our

DOLLAR BID CLUB will

CLUB will not use or disclose your personal information for

information to the same extent as DOLLAR BID CLUB, and

From time to time DOLLAR BID
CLUB runs a variety of contests on the website that you can
optionally enter. We use online contest entry forms to collect personal
information deemed necessary for your participation in a contest. Your information is only used for the
purpose for which it was collected (e.g. to support your participation in a
contest), or for a use consistent with that purpose. In order to be eligible to win a
contest, DOLLAR BID CLUB will
require that you consent to the disclosure and publishing of your name and city
of residence by DOLLAR BID CLUB or a
contest sponsor as the contest winner.
Information about DOLLAR BID
CLUB customers, including personal information, may be
disclosed as part of any merger, acquisition, or sale of the company and/or its
assets, as well as in the unlikely event of insolvency, bankruptcy, or
receivership, in which personal information would be transferred as one of the
business assets of the company. We will notify you of such an occurrence as
described in the "Changes to This Privacy Policy" section below. We
reserve the right to disclose your personal information if required or

DOLLAR BID CLUB uses
